We introduced the basic knowledge of AC servo motor last time. It can be seen that the structure of this motor can be mainly divided into two parts, namely the stator part and the rotor part, and its structure is simple, powerful and widely used. So what are the application ranges of AC servo motors? Next, the editor will introduce it to you in detail!
The application range of AC servo motors is as follows:
1. Material measurement
For the measurement of powdery materials, the screw measurement method is commonly used. The purpose of measurement is achieved by the number of turns the screw rotates. In order to improve the accuracy of measurement, it is required that the rotation speed and position of the screw are adjustable. If an AC servo motor is used to drive the screw, the purpose of rapid measurement can be achieved by taking advantage of the high control accuracy and good torque-frequency characteristics of the AC servo motor. Similarly, for the measurement of viscous materials, the AC servo can also be used to drive the gear pump, and the measurement is performed through the meshing of a pair of gears of the gear pump.
2. Horizontal sealing equipment
In the bag-making active packaging machinery, the horizontal sealing equipment is an important mechanism. It not only requires positioning, but also requires the linear speed of the horizontal sealing wheel to be equal to the film feeding speed during the horizontal sealing process, and the linear speed of the horizontal sealing wheel must be equal to the film feeding speed. Finally, the rotation speed of the transverse sealing wheel should increase, that is, the phases should separate at a faster speed.
The traditional method is to use mechanical methods such as eccentrics or crank guide rod mechanisms to complete the process. This is not only complex in mechanism, low in reliability, but also very time-consuming to adjust. If an AC servo is used to drive the transverse sealing wheel, the motion function of the AC servo can be used to meet the transverse sealing requirements through the non-constant speed movement of the AC servo, thereby improving the work quality and power.
3. Supply and deliver materials
There are two types of operation methods for packaging machinery to feed materials: intermittent and continuous.
In the intermittent material feeding method, such as in the intermittent bag making and packaging machine, in the past, the packaging film was ly fed by the crank-link mechanism intermittent belt pulling method, which is not only complex in structure, but also difficult to adjust. If an AC servo motor is used to drive the pulley, the distance, running time and stop time of each operation of the AC servo can be set in advance in the controller, and the acceleration and positioning functions of the AC servo can be used to control the supply. The purpose of sending the length of the film. Especially in the control system with color mark correction equipment, the error signal detected by the color mark detection switch is transmitted to the AC servo through the controller. The acceleration function and control accuracy of this motor can enable the error to be quickly corrected.
In the continuous material feeding method, the acceleration function and overload capacity of the AC servo motor can ensure continuous and uniform material feeding.
