Preparations before starting:

1. Machine room operators should abide by safe operating procedures and wear work clothes and insulating shoes. In addition, crew members should have a clear division of labor.

2. Check whether the flywheel and the guardrail cover of the earth permanent magnet part are intact.

3. Check the gearboxes, clutches, speed regulators, oil levels, and fasteners before starting the vehicle when the oil and water temperature is no less than 20 degrees.

4. Set the pipeline gates of each system in the "working" position.

5. Check whether the link bolts of the transmission mechanism are tightened. If not, tighten them.

Getting up and running:

1. For units that have been shut down for more than 24 hours, the trial valve must be opened and the oil pump must be started. For units that have been shut down for more than 7 days, the insulation resistance of the exciter and operating circuit should be measured and must meet the requirements.

2. Start the fuel pump, release the air in the pipeline, and observe whether the voltage is within the specified range. Only if it is within the normal range can it be officially started.

3. Check whether the voltage of the starting power supply meets the requirements. If the voltage is normal, press the start button and release it after the diesel motor runs normally.

4. After the diesel motor is running, observe the indicated value of the oil pressure gauge. When it rises above the specified value, stop the oil pump, close the drain valve of the scavenging pump, and tighten the front clutch screw.

5. When the earth permanent magnet motor is started, the motor and all electrical equipment are considered to be charged, and the human body is not allowed to touch the live parts.
