Sweeping problems and solutions for explosion-proof permanent magnet motors

We have previously learned about the maintenance requirements of explosion-proof permanent magnet motors. It can be seen that this motor must undergo regular maintenance before and after use to ensure the normal use of this equipment and extend its life. When the explosion-proof permanent magnet motor is being inspected, it must not be disassembled at will, and a certain amount of anti-rust oil must be applied to its surface.

However, in our daily use of explosion-proof permanent magnet motors, the chamber sweeping phenomenon occasionally occurs. If this phenomenon occurs, we should pay attention: we cannot eliminate it by making the outer circle of the rotor smaller. Before solving this problem, it is important to understand the cause of the problem.

We know that bore sweeping is generally caused by the long-term use of the explosion-proof motor, which causes the explosion-proof motor bearings to wear, which can cause the rotor to sink or the deflection of the crankshaft to cause the rotor to be eccentric.

If the outer circle of the rotor of the explosion-proof vibration motor is simply made smaller, the air gap between the stator and the rotor will be increased, which will then increase the excitation current, resulting in deterioration of the motor's operating performance, as well as reduction in efficiency and power factor.

: Carefully check the bearings, shaft and other components of the motor;

Second: Use a feeler gauge to measure the gap between the stator and the rotor. When measuring, you can slowly move the rotor by hand to observe the change of the gap at different angles;

Third: If the lower clearance is always too small at an angle, it indicates that the bearing is seriously worn and the bearing should be replaced; if the clearance is always too small at a certain angle, it means that the machine shaft is bent in that direction and should be straightened or Replace with new shaft.

1. The causes of explosion-proof permanent magnet motor scanning are as follows:

1. The rotating shaft is bent;

2. Bearing failure and rotor sinking;

3. The stator and rotor cores are eccentric, elliptical, or locally deformed and bulged;

4. The explosion-proof motor and the host are connected on different axes;

5. The structural rigidity is not enough, causing uneven air gaps under the action of magnetic pull;

6. The motor has electromagnetic vibration and sudden changes in load cause uneven air gaps;

7. The thermal deformation of the core is inconsistent;

8. The host has impact and vibration on the motor.

2. The solution to the problem of explosion-proof permanent magnet motor scanning is as follows:

: When we purchase explosion-proof permanent magnet motors, we must choose explosion-proof motor manufacturers with quality;

Second: choose high-quality bearings;

Third: Choose lubricating grease that meets the requirements. Do not buy cheap lubricating grease just for the sake of cheapness;

Fourth: We usually need to inspect the explosion-proof motor; we can perform condition maintenance according to the degree of mechanical wear of the motor;

Fifth: Check whether the lubricating system needs to be replaced with lubricating grease. If necessary, please replace it in time;

Sixth: Check the bearing temperature and vibration regularly or online; if possible, please perform ferrogram analysis regularly;

Seventh: For large or important permanent magnet motors, a motor wear status monitoring and alarm device can be installed. This device monitors changes in the eccentricity of the motor by detecting changes in the air gap magnetic field of the motor. It can detect problems early, arrange maintenance in time, and avoid sweeping. chamber occurs. This can save material costs, labor costs, save energy consumption during the repair process, and avoid core damage that causes the performance degradation of the explosion-proof permanent magnet motor.
