Explosion-proof permanent magnet motors have attracted much attention in the motor industry, and their emergence has facilitated all walks of life. But when using explosion-proof permanent magnet motors, if bearing noise occurs, how can we reduce it? Let’s discuss it together next!
The noise reduction of explosion-proof permanent magnet motor bearings is as follows:
1. Adding certain chemical additives to the lubricant of explosion-proof permanent magnet motor bearings can reduce the noise of the bearings. It is a low-noise grease containing noise-reducing additives, which can reduce the bearing noise by 3.9% from the original level. ~9.2dB, suitable for use in miniature or small bearings.
2. Using vibration absorption or isolation equipment to reduce bearing noise or block bearing noise can have obvious effects, but this often costs a lot economically, sometimes making the mechanism larger, poorer heat dissipation conditions, or prone to corrosion. , should be considered when using it. This method can only be used as long as the purpose of reducing noise cannot be achieved after other measures are taken.
A simple example is a radial ball bearing that replaces a thrust bearing to bear thrust at high speeds. Its outer ring can be covered with a plastic jacket filled with anti-rust lubricating oil. A shrouded thrust bearing or a general thrust bearing can be used if permitted. Below, the inner hole or outer circle is inlaid with the same plastic sleeve, but control it not to conflict or interfere with adjacent parts during rotation. This method has an silencing effect.
3. Add a center sleeve between the bearing and the seat hole, which can attenuate the vibration force transmitted from the rolling system to the bearing seat, but this requires proper distribution, otherwise the opposite effect may occur.
Another option is to use a sound-absorbing and sound-isolating cover to completely shut down the noisy bearing system or close it as much as possible. The interior of this noise reduction cover is made of fiberglass or polyurethane foam, and the inner and outer surfaces are made of steel plates with a thickness of 0.6-1mm. The surface is evenly distributed with φ1.2, 1.5mm small through holes. The total area of the small holes accounts for about the entire inner and outer surfaces. 25% ~ 30%, the surface is a steel plate with a thickness of 2mm.
Here, fiberglass or foam plastic is used to eliminate higher frequency noise, the inner and outer surfaces with small holes are used to eliminate lower frequency noise, and the thick steel plate on the outside is used to block the transmission of noise.
4. Methods to change the rotation speed of corresponding parts of the main engine: The noise of the rolling bearing is not very sensitive to the load, but is very sensitive to the rotation speed. When conditions permit, the method of reducing the rotation speed and increasing the torque can be used to achieve the same operating purpose, but But it reduces its noise.
