The servo motor control system is the main link between the CNC device and the machine tool host. This system is an operating system that can automatically control the mechanical movement of the test device according to predetermined requirements, and it is used to receive the feed sent by the interpolator of the CNC device. The pulse or feed displacement information, after signal conversion and voltage and power amplification, is converted into the linear displacement or rotational displacement of the machine tool table relative to the tool by the servo motor driving the transmission mechanism.
In order to improve the performance of CNC machine tools, high requirements are placed on the feed servo system for machine tools. Since the processing tasks completed by various CNC machine tools are different, the requirements for the feed servo system are also different. We have learned about the zero point adjustment of the servo motor before, so let’s learn about the technical requirements of the servo motor control system together today!
1. System accuracy
Servo system accuracy refers to the degree to which the output quantity reproduces the input signal requirements. It is expressed in the form of error and can be understood as consisting of three aspects: dynamic error, steady-state error and static error.
2. Stability
The stability of the servo motor control system refers to the ability of the system to return to its original stable state after the interference on the system disappears; or the ability of the system to reach a new stable operating state after a new input command is given to the system. .
3. Response characteristics
Response characteristics refer to the reaction speed of the output quantity following the change of the input command. It also determines the working efficiency of the system. The response speed is related to many factors, such as the running speed of the computer, the damping and quality of the motion system, etc.
4. Working frequency
The operating frequency usually refers to the frequency range of the input signal allowed by the servo motor system. When the operating frequency signal is input, the system can work normally according to the technical requirements, but when other frequency signals are input, the system cannot work normally.
